The majority of her clinical experience has been gained working with children and young people who have mental health conditions and she is currently working in the National Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for Deaf Children, a specialist service that has been developed to support Deaf children and their families.
She has special interests in working with children who self harm and is in the process of writing a book about a group work approach that can be used to help young people in this situation. Sarah also has extensive experience of working with children who have Autism and ADHD and is trained in the use of Sensory Integration with these groups.
Sarah is also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master and teaches hypnobirthing, BabyCalm, ToddlerCalm, and Relax Kids classes. She is also trained in the use of Mindfulness Meditation and Mindfulness Based CBT and offers sessions in her local area. Sarah is based near Stourbridge in the West Midlands.
