Dr. Sarah Hulme
Dr Sarah Hulme is a mum to 2 little girls and a Psychologist based in Edinburgh. She has over 10 years experience working with children and families. She is also a teacher and a teacher trainer of BabyCalm and ToddlerCalm.
She gained her Ph.D at the University of Nottingham in 2001 looking at children’s development and understanding of how other people think. When training to be an Educational Psychologist, she specialised in how schools can incorporate play into learning.
Sarah is passionate about using research and evidence to support parents and schools (and other organisations) to improve children’s experiences. She is committed to supporting people to parent and care for children in a responsive way, using knowledge from child psychology and neuropsychology to inform her practice.
