  • Sea Life London Aquarium

    One of the main features was a glass tunnel and walkway through the main shark pool which was large and had an incredible array of shark species so it was great to see them so close. Younger children found this particularly fascinating.

  • Drayton Manor, Staffordshire

    Drayton Park and Thomas Land were a huge hit with the whole family. Children who are a bit too old for Thomas, but don’t meet the height requirement for the main park might not find the day quite so enjoyable, but otherwise there is lots to do for everyone. A big thumbs up!

  • Bewilderwood, Norfolk

    Bewilderwood is basically a very large adventure playground set in a forest. There are an assortment of large slides, climbing frames, a few swings and our favourite – the zip wires. Again the queue for the largest zip wires (mine weren’t intersted in the smaller ones) was quite long, at around 20 minutes, but this was definitely the favourite part of the day.

  • Madame Tussauds, London

    All in all our visit lasted for around three hours. The crowds were pretty bad, but this is a London attraction so you do really expect that, I’m not sure if there are some days that are quieter, if there are it would certainly be worth visiting then. My only real complaint was the lack of toilets as you walked around.

  • Old MacDonald’s Farm, Essex

    The children’s play areas and rides were of a very good standard though and featured a sandpit, tractor and train rides, climbing frames and jungle gyms with slides and nets, a large inflatable slide and traditional helter skelter so there was definitely a good variety of activities which seemed to be very much enjoyed by younger children. The selection of themed farmhouse buildings and piped music also added to the ambience of the place.
